                Alex & Bekah Batista

Alex is the brains and brawn behind Batista Furniture Recycle. He has a true entrepreneurial spirit. Born and raised in beautiful Brazil, the 2nd of 5 siblings, he followed his older sister to the states in the early 2000's. He's been unrelentingly pursuing the American dream since.

Bekah is the curator and creative designer. Born and raised in the great state of Texas, she was blessed beyond words whe she met and fell in love with Alex. We have 5 kids between the two of us, ranging in age from 30-15.

Batista Furniture Recycle LLC was founded in 2017, and since our first day in business we’ve provided high quality refinishing and repair services to clients in the North Texas area. Before that we sold used furniture as a side hustle, eventually turning it into a main hustle and started dabbling with refinishing the dressers and such. We started in our garage and remain a winning husband and wife team operating out of a warehouse in Aubrey, TX. We've added to our team with a handful of hardworking employees. We have over 40 years of combined experience refurbishing, refinishing and repairing furniture. We couldn't help learning about interior design and fell in love with the look and function of lacquer. Over the years we have grown, evolved and expanded. Batista Furniture Recycle LLC now ships to everywhere in the contiguous US and we're ready to go beyond those borders.
